Markle Laws Obituary

In accordance with his wish, cremation will take place and private family remembrances will be held. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Kalamazoo Humane Society, c/o the funeral home.

Markle "Mark" H. Laws, age 63, of Kalamazoo passed away at Bronson Hospital on May 26, 2026. He was born in Kalamazoo on October 12, 1962, the son of the late Howard and Wilma Laws. Mark was a rambler who lived life on his own terms. He graduated from Parchment High School Class of 1980 and would remain a lifetime resident of the Kalamazoo area. He was a jack-of-all trades and a gifted mechanic. He had a generous spirit and always took the time to help those in need. Mark loved animals and was especially close to his dog "Toby". Mark spent many hours working at B&L Auto Salvage, later B&S Auto with his late best friend Bruce Hedges. Mark leaves behind many colorful memories which will be shared and cherished by those closest to him. He is survived by his children, Nicole Laws, Rose Laws-Goulet, Matt Laws; three grandchildren; siblings, Brenda Laws, Hank (Kathy) Laws, Art (Cindi) Laws; former companion, Betty Weiandt; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, including dear friends, Ashley Elsman, Dori Ghurmone and Kelly Brady. He was also preceded in passing by a brother, Bert Laws; aunt, Cornelia Bonnes; close friend Jerry Halliburton.
