He is survived by: his wife Debra "Deb" Smith (Baird); his children, Adam Smith (Dusty) and Jennifer Smith; his grandchildren, Westin Smith, Koric Johnson, Blain Johnson, Kylan Johnson, Nolan Johnson and Kaden Johnon; and his siblings, Dr. Harry Smith (Diane), Esther Wurfel (Art), Jolly Tenant (late Bob) and Adriana Lamie (late Steve). He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services (3926 S 9th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
