He is survived by: his child Nikolai Minka (Molly Wright); his parent Latvia; his wife Lori Minka (Maxson); his daughter Alyssa Milliken (William); and his siblings, Imants Minka (Donna Talbot), Arnis Minka (Dzidra) and Zaiga Thorson (John).
