In the sacred silence of farewell, Merrillie is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvin Roberts and Wilma Roberts (Northrup); her husband Anthony "Tony" Meeuwse; and her siblings, Vern Roberts and Mina Mae Guidebeck (Roberts).
She is survived by: her brother Lew Roberts (Pat); and her sister-in-law Eleanor Roberts. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and stepchildren.
A memorial service was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Grove Bible Church (7655 Ravine Rd, Kalamazoo, MI 49009).
