In accordance with his wish cremation will take place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethesda Ranch, c/o the funeral home.

Michael "Mike" Leroy Horn, age 75, passed away at on October 11, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Royal Oak, MI, on August 7, 1951, the son of the late Earl and Vera (Sloan) Horn. Mike was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be missed. Mike served in the U.S. Army and his patriotic love for America never wavered. He had a keen mind for business and was a gifted accountant. His entrepreneurial spirit would lead him to start and run many businesses throughout his lifetime. He was a man of great integrity, smart and quick witted. When not working he enjoyed staying active; loved boating and being on the water, bowling, playing golf and was a loyal Detroit sports fan. Above all Mike loved his family and was especially proud of his children and grandchildren. On August 31, 1974, he married Susan (Shallop) Horn who survives. He is also survived by three daughters, Robyn (Keith) Goodrich, Brooke Brennan, Lindsay Huskey; grandchildren, Avery, Justin and Tessa Hesling, Chelsea Brennan, Isaac and Madelyn Huskey; siblings, Micheal (Dan) Carpenter, Doug Horn, Paula Steinhoff and Larry (Judy) Stevens; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
