He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo James Nelson and Carmen Louise Nelson (Arnold); his brother Steven Joseph Nelson; Kinnley Miranda. He is survived by: his wife Sue Ellen Nelson (Haskell); his children, Nathaniel Michael Nelson and Stacey Lee Nelson; and his brother Jerry Nelson (Sara).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Plainwell 1st United Methodist Church (200 Park St, Plainwell, MI 49080). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
