Norma Jacqueline Altom Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Norma Jacqueline Altom of Kalamazoo, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 28, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ermon Hatfield and Ada Hatfield; her husband John Altom; her siblings, Larry, Ward, Dane, Billie, Nadine and Neil; and her grandchildren, Todd Garmire, Joshua Hemry, Christopher Altom and Kylie Altom.

She is survived by: her sister Judy; her children, Renee Garmire (Steven), Rachelle Hemry (Buz), Rod Altom (Karen) and Rhonda Zeluff (Steve); and her grandchildren, Stephanie Butler, Jarrod Hemry, Krista Gebhard, Amber Cupples, Ryan Altom, Brandon Zeluff and Nathan Zeluff. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kairos Dwelling in Jackie's memory.
