Pat Janssen Obituary

We announce the death of Pat Janssen (Kalamazoo, Michigan), who passed away on July 15, 2026, at the age of 87. Pat will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Janssen (Walsh); and his brothers, Robert and Larry. He is survived by: his father Francis Janssen; his siblings, Mary Ann Vernia (late Jim), Tim (Dianne), Kate Mast (Fred), Barb Vernia (late Bob), Anne Hopkins (late Terry) and Michael (Mary); his wife Sue of Kalamazoo; his children, Monte Janssen (Betty), Mart Janssen (Myungja), Roberta Hacker (Linn), Jon Janssen (DeAnna) and Matt Janssen (Dawn); his grandchildren, Erin Urka (Joe), Monica Rowell (Adam), Lauren Johnson (Wyatt), Randy Janssen, Jake Gabriel (Elyza), Zach Janssen (Crimson), Emily Stinnett (Mathew), Tiffany Wilkins (Chase), Antonio Dungey (Crystal), Bryce Janssen (Holly), Alaina Dungey, Ethan Janssen and Allyson Janssen; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Aubree, Karson, Mikah, Conner, Elenore, Jude, Jackson, Connor, Maisie and Hunter. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
