She is survived by: her brother Del Newell of Kalamazoo; and her nieces and nephews, Amy Pierce of Raleigh, Gretchen Behimer of Loveland, Todd Newell of Kalamazoo and Greg Newell of Seffner, Florida..
A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Riverside Cemetery (1015 Gull Rd, Kalamazoo, MI 49048).
