He is survived by: his wife Mary Lee Barnes; his sons, Quincy Franklin Jr. and Steven Gregory Franklin (Sharon) of Kalamazoo, MI.; his siblings, Mary Ann Crumell (Smith), Helen Crumell and Frank Crumell Sr.; his children, Sylvia Hamilton (Luther), Anthony Curtis Franklin of Kalamazoo, MI. and Gary Thomas Franklin of Kalamazoo, MI.; and his grandchildren, Quinton Nowling and Angela Nowling. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, students, and friends.
