He was predeceased by : his parents, Cooley Cheney and Viola Cheney (Nicke); his former life partners, Gail and Bess; his daughter Karen Tompkins; and his siblings, Norm Cheney (Doris), Mary Lou Fischer (Bob) and Dan Cheney (Sue).
He is survived by : his wife Lenore Setlik (Parzynski); his children, Pamela Adams (John) and Deb Foote (Jim McIntyre); his stepchildren, Mary Hui-Wee (Victor) and Mark Setlik (Ayuko); his son-in-law Henry Tompkins; and his grandchildren, Alisa Foote, Brandan Foote (Stephanie Watkins), Joey Tompkins, Connor Hui-Wee, Samantha Hui-Wee, Austin Hui-Wee and Annika Setlik. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, great-great-nieces and -nephews, and many dear friends.
