He was predeceased by: his parents, Mason Dungey and Edith Dungey (Salters); his siblings, Pricilla Miller (Fred), Robert "Chuck" Dungey and Darlene Dungey; and his stepdaughter Kelly Marie Rowland (Peck).

He is survived by: his wife Nora Dungey (Magner); his children, Dorene Zoscsak (Roger), Kimberly Weissmann (Stafford), Karin Bird (Stafford) and Kevin Stafford; his grandchildren, Miranda Gilbert (Adam), Jessica Weissmann, Spencer Rowland (Autumn), Clark Rowland (Hannah), Whitney Bare and Kenzington Bird; and his great grandchildren, Gwendolyn and Olivia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
