Richard Rupe Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Rupe (Kalamazoo, Michigan), who passed away on May 22, 2026, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Katelyn; his siblings, Ralph Rupe and Doris Floyd; his grandparents, Chester and Helen Rupe; his parents-in-law, Donald and Josephine Zantello; and his nephew Kevin Lamaster.

He is survived by: his daughters, Megan and Kelsey; his pet Smoke; his grandchildren, Ben and Elana; his close friend Zoe (Dodge Ram); his wife Delora; his mother Dorothy Floyd; his sister Tammy Rupe; his nieces and nephews, Ashley Lamaster and Brandi VanDyke (Ian); and his in-laws, Ruben, Shelley Dela Cruz, Michael and Naiomi Zantello.
