With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert A. Engberts (Kalamazoo, Michigan), who passed away on June 20, 2019 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Engberts and Allene Engberts (Wakefield); his son Robert "Rob" Engberts; his brother Steve Engberts; his son-in-law Robert Zimbelman; and his stepdaughter Kathy Struble.

He is survived by: his wife Edna; his children, Cheri DeVries (Curtis), Jody Dayton (Tom Kurtz), Bobbie Ives (Tim) and Melissa Engberts; his stepchildren, Kim Zimbelman, Natalie Schuiteboer (Tim), Terry Adams (Betina) and Annette Miller; his daughter-in-law Susie Engberts; his nephew Steven Bird; his grandchildren, Jacob, Matt, Christopher, Whitney, Jessica, Brooke, Cody, Emily, Joshua, Jason and Justin (Heather); and his brother Jim Engberts (Marilyn). He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.

Those wishing to attend the committal ceremony are asked to arrive to the cortege area no later than 1:45 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Southwest Michigan, c/o the funeral home.
