He was predeceased by: his parents, William Johnson and Hester Johnson (Phillips); his wife Mary; his daughters, Barbara Liggins and Carol McCracken; and his brother-in-law Jack Redmond.
He is survived by: his children, William Johnson (Jill), Michael Johnson (Barb), Patricia Eve, Theresa Hojara (Rod), Steven Johnson (Peggy), Thomas Johnson (Linda), Jane Ford (Ron), David Johnson (Lori), Daniel Johnson (Cheryl), Catherine Stoner and Elizabeth O'Donnell (Tim); and his sister-in-law Nancy Redmond. He is also survived by 34 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren.
