Robert L. Lesterhouse Obituary

Robert Lee Lesterhouse was born on April 10, 1947, to John and Mae (Wiersma) Lesterhouse. He was the fifth of six children. He grew up hunting, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors. Rob graduated from Parchment High School Class of 1967 and then began his lifelong career with Green Bay Packaging. He retired in 2010. After sustaining a hand injury Rob taught himself hand magic to regain mobility. This evolved into juggling and becoming an illusionist. It wasn't unusual to see him riding his unicycle from Kalamazoo to Richland, and Timid Rabbit became a second home. Rob was eccentric, believed in holistic healing, loved garage sales and helping others no matter what time it was. He was preceded by his parents, John and Mae along with siblings, Claudia Wyman, Diane Gettys and John R. Lesterhouse. He is survived by his brothers, Michael (Claudia) Lesterhouse and Jack (Delores) Lesterhouse along with his former spouse, Marian Lesterhouse, many nieces, nephews, and several children who were not his own but were raised as if they were. Robert truly enjoyed making people laugh and smile.
