He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Ritchie and Ethel J Ritchie (Wagonmaker); his siblings, Dorothy Ann Hughes, John T Ritchie and Mary Flegal (Twink); his brother-in-law Larry Pratt; and his grandson Nathan Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Stacy (Shawn French), Amy (Rob Wilson), Gene (Laura Ritchie) and Rob Ritchie; his grandchildren, Skyler, Kyle Watson, Josh, Caity Caswell, Lexi French (Justin Dacey), Alyssa Cisneros and Ryan Wilson; his great grandchildren, Liam, Thea Caswell, Ella and Lily Watson; his siblings-in-law, Cal Flegal and Cindy Pratt; and his cousin William. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services - Westside (3926 S 9th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
