He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Essig); his children, Kelline Holt (Michael), John, Norman (Kristin), Jeffrey (Monica) and Benjamin (Deb); his siblings, Evelyn Lynch and Donald Zerfas; and his son Jorge Gaytan. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations to The Gary Sinise Foundation, Fisher House Foundation, American Heart Association, and the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be appreciated.
