He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Walters and Dorothy Walters (Kalec); and his sister Karen. He is survived by: his brothers, Gary Walters (Patty) and Kevin Walters (Carol); his wife Kristina Bazali (Kris); his sons, Alexander Walters (Rebecca), Theodore Walters (Jillian) and Nathaniel Walters (Josie); his stepdaughter Katrina Smoker (Devon Brinkley); and his stepgrandchildren, Natalya, Steven, Eloise, Nora, Mae, Oliver, Avery and Noah.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Betzler Life Story Funeral Homes (6080 Stadium Dr, Kalamazoo, MI 49009). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 3rd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, December 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church (421 Monroe St, Kalamazoo, MI 49006).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The American Red Cross, St. Thomas More Catholic Church, or an organization of your choice.
