With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Scott E. Holt of Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on September 29, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Milan Robert and Doris Holt (Jones); his significant other Teresa Hinds; and his brothers, Steven and Andrew Holt.
He is survived by: his children, David Nelson and Danielle Nelson of Kalamazoo; his grandchildren, Leonard Rupe, Arron Alvarado, Brayden Nelson and Grayce Nelson; and his siblings, Milan Luther Holt (Marcia) of Jenison, Bobbi Truesdell (Bill) of Kalamazoo and Dan Holt (Beth) of Kalamazoo. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
