She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold C. and Mary C. Watkins (Metzger); her husband Charles S. Howard; and her brother Norris Watkins. She is survived by: her children, Dann Louis (Susan), Mark Louis (Sheri), Christine MacLeay (Douglas) and Candy Ryder (Tim); her grandchildren, Douglas Louis (Michelle), Amber Braysher (Ryan), Melanie Consolini (Nicklaus), Michele Woodrow (Andrew), Nicholas MacLeay (Alexis), Amy Barclay (Ryan), Chas Ryder (Audra), Nichole Groot (Jordan) and Sarah Gant (Langston); her sisters, Kay Newton and Virginia Koren (Edward); and her sister-in-law Sandra Watkins. She is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lakeland Reformed Church (10442 S Sprinkle Rd, Vicksburg, MI 49097). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
