He was predeceased by: his parents, James Woodford and Mary Jane Markee (Bronson). He is survived by: his wife Mary Kathleen Luke-Markee; his sons, Chris Markee (Sharon) and JJ Markee (Joy); his grandchildren, Andrew (Anyssa), Aaron, Sarah, Adrienne and Charlie Markee; and his brother John Markee (Becky). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services - Westside (3926 S 9th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009). A burial was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:20 AM. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fort Custer National Cemetery (15501 W Dickman Rd, Augusta, MI 49012).
