It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve Ayvazian of Kalamazoo, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on November 29, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Stephen Ayvazian and Jane Ayvazian (Walker); his siblings, William "Bill" Ayvazian and Marguerite Archer; his sons-in-law, Bill Bliss and Wayne McVicar; his grandson Michael; and his great grandchild Dylan.

He is survived by : his wife Virginia Helms; his children, Sheryl Vickers (Robert), Terilynn Bradley (Brad), Kathleen Ann Bliss, Karen Kay McVicar and Jennifer Dale Forgacs (David); his grandchildren, Dana (Mike), Krista (Jeff), Brandon (Sheri), Brent (Pam), Brian (Jen), Steve (Rose), Jessie, Kurt (Mari), Greg (Tammy), Kevin (Denise), Todd (Stacey), Sarah (Ray), Kenny (Gary), Katie (Scott), Danielle (Frank), Kaitlynn (Billy), Alyssa (Joey) and Ethan; his great grandchildren, Robert, Mikayla, Angela, Bastian, Ciera, Blaine, Tori, Luna, Kayleigh, Rylee, Kyle, Eddie, Gunner, Brecker, Denise, Jackson, Lillian, Charlotte, Colin, Karley, Arya, Xander, Aleyna and Lukas; and his great great grandchild Zeke. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Michael Lutheran Church or Battle Creek VA Medical Center.
