It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Fernando of Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Santiago Rayappen and Deva Sagayam Fernando (Crusal). He was also cherished by nieces & nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Redmond Funeral Home (4100 S Westnedge Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49008). A rosary was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St Augustine Cathedral (542 W Michigan Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49007).

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
