He was born in Traverse City on June 26, 1944, the son of the late Julius and Rose (Fluhrer) Levenske. Tom was a kind, loving and generous man who was a joy to know. He graduated from St. Francis High School in Traverse City, received an associate's degree and began working for Stryker where he would remain until retiring after more than forty years. On November 5, 1977, he married the love of his life Valarie (Schuster) Levenske who he met while on a bowling league. The two would make their home in Kalamazoo and begin a family. Tom was a loyal husband, loving father, proud grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. His family was the joy of his life, and he was happiest when all were gathered together. Tom had a strong faith in the Lord and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church where he will be missed. He had many passions and hobbies. Was a loyal Detroit Tigers and Lions fan, followed WMU Bronco athletics. He also enjoyed puzzle books, bowling and eating out with family and friends.
