Friends will be received from 9:30 am to 10:00 am on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 10:30 am at Riverside Cemetery, Kalamazoo. Memorial contributions may be made to Centrica Care Navigators Hospice.
Age 90 passed away Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Centrica Rose Arbor Place. Thomas was born June 12, 1936, in Kalamazoo, the son of Robert and Dorothy (Hinds) VanLandegent. He graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School and was a self-employed carpet installer. Thomas attended Westminster Presbyterian Church and enjoyed working with his antique Corvettes. Surviving are nephews, Dan Jepkma, Steven Jepkma; niece, Pamela Navarre; special cousin, Donald (Beverly) VanLandegent; several other cousins; caring friends, Chuck Hybels and Ann Dick. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Joan Jepkma; nephew, Mike Jepkma; several cousins.
