He was predeceased by : his parents, Harlan Kahl and Betty Kahl (Whitehurst). He is survived by : his wife Kathy Kahl (Blodgett); his children, Sheila Kahl (Chris), Kathleen VanFulpen (Kevin) and Ricky Kahl (Wassyona); his stepson Tim Marusek (Holly); his grandchildren, Cynthia (Valentin), Alex, Benjamin, Noah and Jessica; his great grandchildren, Raphael and Isaiah; his siblings, Terry Kahl (Dorri), Brenda Kuilema and Sandra Whitford; and his pet Prince.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Lung Association, in memory of Virgil.
