We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2025, at the age of 102, Wallace Homer Matthies (Kalamazoo, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Wallace Homer may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Wallace Homer touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mt. Ever Rest Memorial Park South (3941 S Westnedge Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49008).
