William RietKerk Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on July 4, 2024, at the age of 86, William RietKerk (Kalamazoo, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though William may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard RietKerk and Laura RietKerk (Collins); his wife Dolly May Grile; his granddaughter Erin Joy; and his stepfather Arthur Bourner.
He is survived by: his children, Randy RietKerk (Laurie) of Scotts, MI, Mark RietKerk (Sandra) of Kalamazoo, MI, Christine Smith (Michael) of Phoenix, AZ and Lisa Gall (Joseph) of Kalamazoo, MI. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission, where he and Dolly donated time and money regularly during their lives.
