He is survived by: his friend Woody; his wife Kathy; his children, Pam King, Polly King (Dan), Drew Hakala (Erica) and Dustin Hakala (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Steven Bothun (Jazmyne), Mikaela Lee (Tess), Teagan Bothun (Gabby), Jacob Hakala, Sarah Hakala and Nick Hakala; and his siblings, Robert Eugene King (Eveline) and Lou Ann Smelser (David). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
