He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sr. Thien and Marguerite Thien (Stanton); his wife JoAnn Thien (Shebetta); and his friend Chuck Fish. He is survived by: his sisters, Gail and Lynne; his son Bradley; his son-in-law Kenneth McLaughlin; his nieces and nephews, Diane Luken (Tom), Stephen Linn (Anzhela), Therese Hetland (Gary), David Linn and Mary Langhill (Bob); and his friends, Jim Franklin and Rick Cheney.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Ann Catholic Church or the American Diabetes Association, honoring Ed's memory and his spirit of giving.
