She was predeceased by: her mother Church; her husband Arthur "Art" Doherty; and her sister Patricia Scally. She is survived by: her children, Dottye Middlebrook (Lindsay), Terrie Tigges (Larry), Bob Doherty (Kathy), Sue Hennessy (Ray), Michelle Wachter (Dave) and Amy Porter (Craig); and her friends, Jack and RuthAnn Fitzgerald.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Ferdinand Catholic Church (1765 Charbonier Rd, Florissant, MO 63031). A Mass will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials donations may be made in JoAnn's memory to Marygrove of Florissant or St Vincent DePaul Society at St Ferdinand Catholic Church.
