He is survived by: his wife Sharon Shapiro; his children, Keith Shapiro (Angela Kavouras) of Olivette, MO and Karen Pestka (Dan) of St. Charles, MO; his grandchildren, Ryan Pestka (Jennifer) of Lake St, Corey Pestka of St. Charles, MO, Kyle Shapiro (Julia Reedy) of Park City, UT and Nicole Shapiro of Coralville, IA; his great grandchildren, Kennedy, Olivia and Hayden Pestka; and his brothers, David Shapiro of Denton, TX and Edward Shapiro (Barrie) of Menlo Park, CA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
