It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth M. Shelton (Florissant, Missouri), born in Potosi, Missouri, who passed away on November 2, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Howard and Gertrude Howard; and her siblings, Edward, Dennis, Richard, John, Jerry and Debbie.
She is survived by: her husband Robert W. Shelton Sr.; her children, Robert Shelton Jr., Thomas Shelton, Daniel Shelton and Matthew Shelton (Melissa); her grandchildren, Ryan Shelton Jr. (Samantha), Sam Shelton (Kathryn) and Juliet Shelton; her great grandchildren, James and Isla June; and her sisters, Judith Howard and Linda Smith (Howard).
Ruth donated her body to St. Louis University School of Medicine. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
