It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sandra L. McDermott (Florissant, Missouri), who passed away on February 3, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Patrick McDermott; her parents, James Ackerman and Helen Ackerman; and her brothers, Thomas Ackerman and James Ackerman Jr. (Sandra).

She is survived by: her children, Jennifer McDermott (Keith Stoops) and Scott McDermott (Sharon); her granddaughter Jordan McDermott; and her siblings-in-law, Nancy Ackerman, James McDermott (Ruth), Joan Wichlan (Dennis), William McDermott (Debbie) and Peggy Reinsberg (James). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Memorial donations can be made in Sandra's name to the National Kidney Foundation or the American Heart Association.
