He is survived by: his children, Angela Polk of Newark, NJ and Edward Parks of Houston, TX; and his brothers, Kenneth Polk of Birmingham, AL and Elton Polk of Biloxi, MS. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

André peacefully transitioned from labor to reward on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Ochsners' Foundation Hospital, in New Orleans, LA, surrounded by his family and loved ones.
