He was predeceased by: his father James Taylor; his grandparents, James Gent, Mary Montclair, Johnnie Franklin and Catherine Dykes; and his aunts, Onie Lee Powell and Mary James Cole.
He is survived by: his mother Myrtle Taylor; his children, Imani, Aisha, Nia, Dakarai, Aaliyah, Brandon, Arieal and Daniel; his grandchildren, Aydan and Ava; and his brothers, Torry, James (Tabia), Jabez and Antoine. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
