He was loved and cherished by many people including : his father Charles Cooper II; his wife Dorothy Autry Cooper; his children, Charles Clayton Cooper (Marisa) and Erin Nicole Cooper Carter (Darius); his grandchild Isjah Cooper; his mother Tearessa Cooper; and his siblings, Walter Cooper and Zelanda Cooper. He was also cherished by niece, and a host of nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lockett-Williams Mortuary, Inc. (2018 31st Ave, Gulfport, MS 39501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
