She was predeceased by: her grandfather William Reese; and her godmother Ella Avery. She is survived by: her parents, Matthew Lawton III and Cazesta S. Lawton; her brother Chaseton M. Lawton; her grandparents, Matthew Lawton Jr., Lynette Lawton and Janice Green Merrell; her aunts and uncles, Rhonda Reese Davison, Yalayna Green, Dimple Reese, Raymond "Ricky" Harris, Marcus Lawton (Kay), Damon Reese (Rochelle) of Orenthal and Jeremy Davis; and her godparents, LaTroy and Anita Hawkins. She is also survived by extended family members, including seven great-aunts, a multitude of cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Shiloh Baptist Church-Saucier (17321 Biloxi Cutoff Rd, Saucier, MS 39574). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Lawton Cemetery.
