It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cora Mae Sims (Gulfport, Mississippi), who passed away on September 26, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Smith and Lovie D. Smith; her siblings, Henry Smith, Tecora Whitley, Eddie Mae Clark and Madura Teague; and her brothers-in-law, JC Clark, TJ Teague, Charles Keys and Buster Teague.
She is survived by: her husband Lonnie Sims; her son Demeterius Smith (Melaina); her grandchildren, Darius, KeKe, Demetrius Jr. and Detaurus; her siblings, Robert Smith, Lovie Keys and Murline Teague; and her brother-in-law John Whitley. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
