Eldora Laphand Obituary
In loving memory of Eldora Laphand (Gulfport, Mississippi), who departed this world on July 11, 2025 at the age of 88. Eldora leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Laphand and Idella Laphand; her brother Jessie Laphand; and her grandson Coleman Robinson. She is survived by: her cousin Eldora Laphand; her children, Gerald Bradshaw (Melinda), Michael Laphand, Doris King (Michael) and Carrie Robinson (Michael); her sister Vertna Newman; and her grandchildren, Gerald Jr., Jared, Jeremy Bradshaw, Christopher Robinson, Julian King (Max), Melanie Laphand and Asia Veal. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Jerusalem Baptist Church (3302 23rd Ave, Gulfport, MS 39501). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers or plants, the family asks that you make a donation to a charity of your choice, giving consideration to Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce Alzheimer's Assoc and/or Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce Parkinsons Foundation, in the name of our beloved...Eldora Laphand.
