She is survived by: her parents, Samuel Cooley and Emma Jean Bridges; her children, Rose Cooley, Atic Cooley, Alice Stewart (DJ) and Michael Cooley; her siblings, Ann Clavrie, Doreatha Cooley, Jerry May, Jerome Gardner and Willie Cooley; and her boyfriend Michael Ray. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
