He was predeceased by: his parent Arita Dedeaux Marcus; his wife Yvonne L. Seldon; his son Aaron J. Seldon; his siblings, Edward Seldon Jr., David Harold, Joann Collins and Annette Maddox; and his father Edward Seldon Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Leo Garfield Seldon, Ronald Anthony Seldon, Valeria Rachel Seldon Ray and Candice Monique Seldon; his sister-in-law Gloria Marie Davis; his brother Joseph; his grandchildren, Dominique Seldon, Jairrion Kapperman (Latisha), Devin Seldon, Leo Seldon Jr., Kyle Seldon, Alexis Seldon, Aaron Seldon, Tristan Seldon and Austin Ray; his great grandchildren, Zoë Johnson, Khloe Seldon, Jordan Kapperman, Khaza Reyes and Kree Reyes; and his godchildren, Janice "Inky" Boudreaux and Aubrey Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He cherished time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, spent many hours working on projects in his shed, and found peace in fishing-often donating his catch to St. Therese Catholic Church.
