He is survived by: his wife Sandy Sandford Vest; his daughters, Amy Vest Jenkins (Mac) and Wendy Vest Thompson (Kevin); his sister Ann Vest Hart; his grandchildren, Michael Thompson, Cole Thompson, Anna Leigh Jenkins and Mary McRae Jenkins; and his nephews, William Hart and Dan Hart.
