Catherine Elaine Underwood Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Elaine Underwood (Hernando, Mississippi), who passed away on May 31, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Robert Underwood; her parents, Mark Mauney and Fannie Mauney; and her siblings, Hardy Mauney, Harlon Mauney, Seafus Mauney, Bobby Ray Mauney, Bernice Riley, Cleo Johnson and Velma McElhaney (Gracie Mauney).
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Busse (Ken), Deborah Cothern and John Underwood Jr. (Sheila). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Sanctuary Hospice or Tupelo, MS and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
