We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2024, at the age of 90, Wilder W. Hubbard Jr. (Hernando, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Wilder is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Wilder's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilder Walton Hubbard Sr. and Elizabeth Simpson Hubbard; his stepmother Thelma Anderson Hubbard; and his sister Carolyn Rhodes.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Parkway Baptist Church or your favorite charity.

“You would have to search wide and far to find a better person than Wilder Hubbard. I was fortunate enough to work with him for over 13 years at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Never met a person he didn’t like and never a person who didn’t like him. He had a kind word for everyone. Hub and I had lunch together for most of those years. We took several business trips together and to this day I have never heard anyone snore as loud. RIP my friend. We will all miss you!”
