With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phillip Ray Kirkman of Lake Cormorant, Mississippi, born in Ripley, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2024 at the age of 68. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ray Kirkman and Maxine Kirkman; his daughter Patti Allison; his grandson Hunter Escue; and his niece Krista Easley.

He is survived by : his wife Michele Kirkman; his siblings, Pam Scott (Ronny), Greg Kirkman (Connie) and Linda Carr (Mike); his daughters, Angie Kirkman (Jason Stevens) and Krissy Dickson (Kevin); his stepchildren, Eric Marchant and Elyshia Walsh; his grandchildren, Cameron Forrest (Cait), Cayden Allison, Kennady Escue, Lawsyn Escue, Reid Nations, Jackson Nations, Kira Ewings, Mila Ewings, Ethan Marchant, Arianna Caraballo, Isabel Caraballo and Elijah Caraballo; and his great grandchildren, Addileigh Nations, Everleigh Forrest, Hudson Forrest and Kamilla Rose Jenkins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hernando Funeral Home (2285 Hwy 51 S, Hernando, MS 38632). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
