In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Freida leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Freida may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Murphy Jones and Virginia Jones; her former husband David Paul Pounders; her sons, Johnny and Robert Pounders; and her brother Louis Jones.
She is survived by: her husband James Clayton Fiveash (JC); her daughters, Lynn Booth (Ralph) of Hernando and Peggy Bennett (Don) of Hernando; her stepdaughter Tammy Warren of Southaven; and her siblings, Pat Jones (Jerry) of Olive Branch and Minor Jones (Janice) of Senatobia. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hernando Funeral Home (2285 Hwy 51 S, Hernando, MS 38632). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
