We bid farewell to Jeanette Ward of Pass Christian, Mississippi, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 8, 2025 at the age of 86. Jeanette touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellen Martin (Ausmer) and Robert Martin; her husband Andrew Joseph Ward (Joe) of Pass Christian, MS.; her children, Darrel Ward and Sharon Ward Cherry; her grandson Darius Ward; and her siblings, Randolph, Van, Jerry Dedeaux, Norman Marti and Gloria Martin Belvin.
She is survived by: her children, Stephney Lawton (Leonard), June Raboteau (Tony) and Andrew Ward, Jr.; her stepson Gregory Thomas; her daughter-in-law Lillie Biggs Ward McMillan; her niece Tasha Martin; and her siblings, Geraldine Martin Brown, Prenella Martin Willis and Ronald Martin (Wanda). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at 222 E Railroad Ave, Pass Christian, MS 39571. A rosary was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Stephens Cemetery (6420 Lobouy Rd, Pass Christian, MS 39571).
At age 86, after a years-long battle with Alzheimer's Disease, she passed peacefully on November 8, 2025.
