He was predeceased by: his parents, Mura "Odell" Cox and Ruby A. Tracey Cox; and his siblings, Kenneth Cox, Cleveland Cox, Lavaughn Cox and Jean Griffin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Angie Nevill (Billy) and Tracey Lausterer (Chris). He is also survived by four grandchildren, four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Hernando Funeral Home (2285 Hwy 51 S, Hernando, MS 38632).
